ROLE SUMMARY

Are you passionate about music?  Do you know a lot about the Beijing Music scene?  Do you want a career working with bands, brands and events?  If the answer is yes, then you might be our next Operations Assistant.

In this role you will be a key junior member of the operations team, working on branded events, independent music gigs, touring around China, music and arts festivals.

This person is one who is hard-working, a fast learner and works great on their own and in a team.   AND is a NATIVE MANDARIN SPEAKER!

Responsibilities (any or all of the following):

Event Planning Assistance:

- Researching and liaising with performers and artists

- Sourcing suppliers & venues

- Project planning

Event Management:

- Delivery of an agreed events programme

- Day to day team meetings / weekly reports to mgmt

- Adherence to budget / negotiation of costs

- Adherence to administration and financial procedures.

- Progress reports

Event Production:

- On site management

- Artist management

- Supplier management

- Technical production coordination

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- You are fluent in both Chinese with advanced English.

- You often go to gigs, and know a lot about the Beijing Music scene

- Minimum of 1+ year experience working on branded projects or live events.

- Ability to take responsibility and solve problems in a live event setting.

- Extremely organized!

- Analytical, self motivated with excellent communication and presentation skills

- Hard working, fast learner and a team player.

Preferred:

- Possess technical event production skills, including a good working knowledge of general show production: audio + backline, event creative + set production, etc.

- At least a bachelor degree in English, Marketing, Business, Communications etc.

- Prefer a love of music and the creative industries.
